Because the editions are limited to 25 pieces and all giclées are signed, the giclée is a full-fledged work of art. The giclée also comes with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.

The idea for this painting arose during my trip through India. I wanted to discover who I am without everything else. I left everything behind and went to India to get in touch with my deepest feelings. Because I was completely away from my familiar surroundings, I learned to listen to my inner voice. It has given me a lot of clarity and that has never gone away. I learned in any situation where you don’t know what to do, you have to listen to that inner voice, your feeling. This painting shows that the message is being received. The woman thinks, she doesn’t remember for a moment and then suddenly the messenger brings her a message. That’s when we trust our intuition, listening to the inner voice. In this painting the messenger is portrayed in a male angel, but the messenger can be anything. A ‘feeling’ comes in on which you know (also called the feeling or stimulus) what is depicted in the painting as a male angel.
