This painting was painted in 2016 after reading many books about consciousness. We sometimes focus so much on the goal or destination that we forget the way to get there. We lose touch with every valuable step. Because we are ‘not there yet’, stress arises. But it’s not about what’s missing or what steps to follow. It’s about now. So even if you have no idea where to go, that’s totally okay. Embrace that uncertainty, doubt or unrest. Such a place without answers is very lively, creative and full of potential. I realize more and more that it is wonderful to let go of your obstructive inner patterns, thoughts and beliefs, and to really be able to live freely from the heart. To be able to make your choices from unconditional love, your inner strength, and pure self. Choices that support yourself and lead you step by step to more freedom. Living without limits. The more limitless we feel about ourselves, the more we feel we are really alive. And that is the idea of the painting boundless.
