The underpainting is finished
My journey through India was an unforgettable experience. It started in the Himalayas…. I traveled through the Himalayas for a few days, visited the highest Shiva temple in the world, Tungnath. I completely surrendered to the faith. Nothing mattered anymore, I was one with the Himalayas and really didn't want to leave. After a few days I moved back to civilization and decided to spend a few days in Haridwar and surrender myself completely to the faith. The people are very loving, I am so very grateful to have been able to meet them and to be a guest in their country. I was also allowed to participate in the rituals in the ganga. This was very impressive and emotional. It was time to move on and I decided to go to Almora, and then to Jagheswhar, and so suddenly SHE was there… .. it felt so familiar, as if I had known her for years. Everything around me no longer existed, it was a great experience!
I still feel the power of INDIA every day ……
I incorporated these unforgettable experiences from my journey through India into my new painting.
This is the first layer of the new painting, work out the details a little further and then put thin layers of color over it.
